we may or may not like it sometime but the web is a reflective dimension of the world in a way we never experienced before. Aside of the hype and the concerns and the sheer overload, the value shines through. This link above for me shows the true value of the human experience that has always existed but now the web and web2.0 builds to a new level. Whatever your focus or walk of life click and read these values, be sure to scroll all the way through them. Fascinating! Encouraging!

If you wonder about yourself and others this is a book to read, its quick an easy to read. Its great thought provoker on intuition, trust and judgement.

I havent read tipping point but of course know about it. I dont see this as a business book, its an eye opener - like in a blink of an eye.

Two things that really got me thinking included:

His reference to race AIT and the need to experience this to understand it: and the race AIT, do it.

and also this latter extract of the 3 online extracts from the book:

business and fun - Speed Stacks in the United Kingdom supplies sport stacking equipment and provides cup stacking information and workshops.

Speed Stacks in the United Kingdom supplies sport stacking equipment and provides cup stacking information and workshops.

this is something that i found after reading the FT entrepreneurs section today and then doing a quick google on "sport stacking".

As a father with business and entrepreneurial motivations the story holds lots of value for me. Motor skills for young childrens means something serious for me, the op in the market means something for me as an entrepreneur and mentor!

enjoy the video from my title link at the top above, its cool!

Mentors unite, we only exist to help people doing the hard stuff we struggled with.

More blogs about mentoring.

and if you wonder about blogs

The Truth Laid Bear
scanning these you might(just might) get an enlightment.
Having blogged for sometime now (feeling slightly self indulgent at times) but having got into the mode of doing it "one click" from the site of interest, with a limit of just a minute or two of typing, i now feel the new world of; being open, sharing idea's, interests, finds and facts.

From the past an analogy to the spectrum from Ann Frank to Adrian Mole (UK/Euro centric i know), newspapers to webzines, Blogs are a new open, creative and democratic media. Yes there’s been lots of hype for years and i'll still buy and subscribe to my favorite mags and newspaper, but aside of that some blogs (only some) will prove the test of time, others are just pure self indulgence, like books, art, websites, daily chatter and other media!

ps - credit to Trevor Butterworth for his article in pink that i read on the plane in the FT (18/19feb2006) that gave me some of the pointers. I read the FT whenever i fly and subscribe online, it worked for my workstyle and lifestyle as a paper for the last 10-20yrs and im sure it will last the next 10-20yrs.

Now im seeing as part of the next step in connecting the community approach of the web for me.

competitors - who needs them!

Are we ever too young or too old? (see poems) "'Yesterday is a memory, tomorrow is a mystery and today is a gift, which is why it is called the present' "

Today has not been a good day, but still a day of discovery.
I attended the funeral of the 12yr old son of my Cousin. Oliver Horslen was a fit healthy and delightful child. He was hit by a bug on the thursday and sadly parted from this world on the Sunday. There is even great sadness in the full story but i'll leave it there.

The families chosen charity for Oliver is

My deepest condolence to anyone who like my family has lost someone so young and so precious.

Bless you Oliver and bless your brothers Robert and Dominic and your parents!
