cloud, fog, scotch mist - seeing through is never easy BUT critical!!

http://vinf.net/2008/10/01/cloud-wars-vmware-vs-microsoft-vs-google-vs-amazon-clouds/

Its amazing to realise that Amazon is as much as software company as it is a retailer. Just as Dell emonstrated the online agility with lean organisation, technology and channel in the 90's Amazons business model has really lead the charge. Add that to the growth of Google and the continued legacy of Microsoft and the battle for hearts and minds of developers and businesses will rage for some time.

Clearly Software as a Service SaaS is morfing, the Cloud is clearly next, but when?

EO - Employee Ownership

Interesting site worth digging into:
http://www.employeeownership.co.uk/advantages.htm

Very much the triple bottom line way with economic, social and environmental responsibility built in in many cases as with participants like Eaga:

A green support services company, it is at the forefront of the drive to improve the energy efficiency of the UK’s housing stock, to reduce carbon emissions and address social issues by eradicating fuel poverty. Unusually for a big FTSE company, Eaga’s key market drivers are centred on climate change and social inclusion, it says.!

Lots of interesting info for people growing their business and looking to address the key issue of people, their organisation and wealth generation through growth.
