Zynga $2bn IPO - FT.com

$850M revenues makes it a 23 times revenue bet. Social gaming, does this match the rest in the current gold rush?

Zynga set to rival networking peers with $2bn IPO - FT.com

"Marc Andreessen, the founder of Netscape and a venture capital investor in Zynga, said: “Zynga is an absolute phenomenon. Mark Pincus [Zynga’s chief executive] ... has an unbelievable vision for the next 10 to 20 years. "

TED: The Moral O/S!

We are the net! We decide! We make it right! http://www.ted.com/talks/damon_horowitz.html

The internet was predictable, we knew the browser would follow and that content would grow and that ecommerce was next and that search find try and buy would emerge so the cloud would happen and to peak it had to integrate people so social media and mobile convergence was expected and we know that, what decides, is US. Its all predictable and its going to be right!?

Nuclear power: Atomised approach

FT.com / Comment / Analysis - Nuclear power: Atomised approach

Even with renewables and hopefully more careful if not reduced consumption, as new technology and new behaviours kick in for a growing global population, Nuclear is still a key answer to energy needs and reduction in CO2 emittions thus helping mitigate climate change.

More careful regulation is what will make it even cleaner and safer.

In 30yrs time I wonder what Germany will look like in terms of consumption, supply and cost of energy? How much nuclear energy will they import from france??
