The Signifier?

This passage says it all, if you are into business, people, planet, altruism, politics or anything.

What can Robinson Crusoe tell us about the signifier?

We as humans live uniquely with words. Words are different to communication, animals communicate but they don't use word. Only humans have words, and a language structured through sentences delivered as verse, or song, or book.

Our world has objects, it has actions and it has words, these three things do not always represent each other as well as we think, or do they?
