Mashups - read; service and creativity!

While you may not be a conscious follower of web2.0 and a lot of the techno babble around the web and technology this little artical presses home the point that in our ever more complex world the ability to pull things together quick and simple or firm and fast, its the mashup in the innovation, entrepreneurial and social communication space that makes life interesting in the start of what is still this new millenium.

"The implementation of innovative Web 2.0 technologies is beginning to change the way businesses interact with their customers, their partners and each other – having profound economic, communal and technological impacts.
Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is a business-driven IT architectural approach that supports integrating a business as linked, repeatable business tasks, or services. These functions may be provided locally, remotely, or via an external system. SOAs effectively build applications out of existing business software. "

"Web 2.0 extends the reach of SOA by making it simple for both business users and less advanced programmers to create or remix their own rich applications and to access services through the web."

SOA Service Orientated Architectures; if only we can do this in all our businesses not just in the techno-IT context, then we our staff, our partner and especially our customers will be happy!

Now lets think about this in the context of the Triple Bottom Line and how to bolt the macro and micro dynamic together?!
